The Pool

Twelve by seven, privately yours

The pool at Finca Bennassar is large by any measure and distinctive by design — its asymmetric form follows the character of the grounds rather than imposing geometry upon them. Set within the olive grove, surrounded by stone terraces and sun loungers, it is positioned to catch the Mallorcan sun throughout the day.

Open from March through November. Two metres at its deepest. Entirely private, shielded by the ancient planting and stone walls of the estate.

An outdoor room for every hour

A centuries-old carob tree presides over the stone terraces, offering shade that no awning could replicate. Beneath it, sun loungers. Around it, the olive grove. A stone bridge crosses a small ornamental pond — a detail that rewards the slow morning.

A generous covered barbecue area provides the outdoor kitchen. As the day cools, the terrace becomes the finest room in the house. It simply does.
